“Wellness” means something different to everyone. Mental and emotional wellness are key to living a healthy, happy life. My approach to therapy combines traditional methodologies with components of mindfulness & breath work. Using a client-centered yet eclectic approach, I believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship in a safe, comfortable environment. The therapeutic process is a personal & individualized one, and as such this allows me to meet you in the present while being a catalyst through your change process.
Compassionate & supportive but also direct & honest, taking a practical task-oriented approach to solving life's challenges. It's the creativity of finding ways for you to connect that make counseling such an awesome experience. Does the thought of sitting in a chair for 45 minutes sound unappealing? No worries! We can take a walk, play a game or color.
My experience is diverse within the mental health field, stretching over 15 years from working with chronically mentally ill adults to teens, children and families. Throughout my practice, I’ve learned that there is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Change is possible when one is motivated and supported.
