English
| עברית You are so tired of not feeling well, but hesitate to contact a therapist: Can I trust a stranger? Can anybody really help me? On the face of it, you function well in life, but deep inside you feel you don't actually “show up,” or you don't fully “belong.” It is as if your real authentic self is hiding, sensing that “being you” might not be safe enough. Aspects of your life story might explain why you feel uncomfortable, why you feel different than others, or why you are down or anxious. I would love to help you explore such issues in therapy, and work with you on improving your daily life experience.
After many years of providing individual & couples therapy, I find that an individually-tailored approach to each client, integrating a variety of well-studied methods works best. I combine this with honest talk, touching the pain, laughing, and helping you connect with your strengths. My ultimate goal is to help you experience the freedom to be you.
My specialties include working with immigrants / foreigners, and people who identify as LGBTQ+. I also have much experience with therapy to college and graduate students. Values of Diversity-Equity-Inclusion are central to my work. Though it may feel scary to call a therapist, know that I am here to help you! Check my website for more information.
