Hello !My name is Richaunda.I am a proud Social Worker and Therapist. I have been asked many times, why did I choose this profession.My answer is simply, “It has to be in your heart”.Life is a beautiful thing. However, life will also present challenges.I have experience with multiple diagnosis and settings to include, but not limited to, in patient treatment , outpatient treatment, and community based treatment. I use several models during my professional interactions, while catering to the needs of the individual or individuals during their session.
With having over 20 years in mental health & dual diagnosis , I bring a sense of compassion and understanding as a Licensed Social Worker. Being a therapist is truly a passion, as I enjoy helping others. I love helping others identify strengths and attributes that they have within. I enjoy working with families, couples, and individuals ages 18 and up.
I provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment which allows for authentic self expression. I desire to help others identify inner strengths and how to build on those. I maintain an open mind while maintaining cultural competence with individuals and families.
