I work regularly with clients living with anxiety and depression as well as those who have experienced trauma. My specialties include: mindfulness-based psychotherapy treatment for clients experiencing Functional Neurological Disorders (including Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures); assisting young adults with the transition from adolescence to adulthood; gender-affirming therapy; trauma therapy; and working with elderly clients and their families adjusting to late life changes and new medical diagnoses. I also work regularly with clients experiencing depression and anxiety.
I utilize a variety of solution-focused, cognitive behavioral (CBT), motivational, and supportive approaches to help clients achieve their goals. I maintain an affiliation and referral relationship with Mass General Brigham's Behavioral Neurology Department, the Beth Israel Deaconess Neurology Department, and the Mass General Trans Health Program.
I am part of a group behavioral health practice in Norwell, MA called Access for Change (www.accessforchange.com). The practice has multiple clinicians, some of whom are now taking new referrals. The practice takes most major insurances, including Medicare, MBHP/MassHealth, Blue Cross, Cigna, Tufts, United Healthcare, Allways, BMC, Fallon, and Unicare.
