I have been a clinical psychologist for over 30 years. My principal orientation to therapy is cognitive behavioral—I believe that we can impact the way we feel about our lives by changing the way we interpret events and relationships. That being said, I bring to therapy a wealth of life experiences, including being a husband, father and an attorney.
My legal experience can be useful if you are contemplating or experiencing divorce or have become involved in legal proceedings because of a problem with addiction or other behavior. As a clinical psychologist I have experience with a variety of different types of therapy, so when needed I can access a diverse toolkit of problem-solving strategies.
