Hi, I’m Richard! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New York City. I specialize working with teenagers, college-aged students, young adults, and families. I primarily use therapeutic techniques from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Strengths- Based Therapy to help engage and support my clients through emotional adversity. My clients typically are working through life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, or struggling to find a sense of self.
My therapeutic style is one that includes finding areas of relatability, using empathy, compassion, and a bit of well-timed humor. I believe that our time together involves a commitment to yourself and our work together, can be challenging but ultimately, rewarding.
