My 25 years experience in private practice working with children, teens, adults and couples have led to comfortable skills in facilitating change. I work very hard to really get to know my clients and work with their personal situations. Every individual, couple or family has their unique dynamics, needs, strengths and focus of change. You won't be put in a "diagnostic box".
Working with couples in therapy is a challenge I particularly look forward to. Improved communication, conflict management, staying connected and having fun again are a frequent focus. I welcome being a partner with individuals in their journey through life crises, divorce, managing depression and anxiety and working toward healthy choices.
Therapy really involves these things: honesty, self-responsibility, a desire to understand and grow through one's conflict and pain, a good sense of humor, a confortable chair and a willingness to get outside of oneself to consider others.
