I have been a licensed psychologist in California since 2009 with a Ph.D. from American University in Washington, D.C., in 2006. I have been seeing clients in various clinical capacities since 1998. I enjoy working with clients from a broad range of backgrounds presenting with an array of clinical issues like anxiety, depression, coping skills, self esteem, relationship issues, and more. My approach to therapy is a combination of Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral techniques. This combination focuses on establishing a secure client relationship while applying validated techniques for positive therapeutic change.
I like being informal and relaxed with clients, making them feel comfortable and safe in therapy, thus facilitating their opening up about issues that need to be addressed but may be challenging to discuss.
