Most any therapist will tell you that they prefer seeing clients who are motivated to change. Clients presenting as "depressed" often express little or no hope. Clients with anxiety have difficulty seeing stressful situations as manageable. Couples often present with one or both doubting that the marriage can survive. I believe all clients have incredible inherent God-given resources to effect positive change. Likewise, I believe marriages are salvageable, if couples are willing to work, to be vulnerable, to accept, and to understand that the greatest expression of love is to fully know and to be known.
Wouldn't it be nice to know that You matter! That you can safely be vulnerable enough to speak the truth about you without fear of criticism or rejection! My hope as a therapist is that I can provide a safe, caring, non-judgmental environment for my clients to be fully heard, understood and helped.
I am a father of three, who practiced law for 20+ years before changing careers. I have experienced the drama of relationships and conflict from many perspectives. I feel called to help people with depression, anxiety, anger, low self-worth, "Trust" issues, and couples in conflict.
