This practice consists of 3 clinicans who are client-focused utilizing a family system model and evidence-based therapies tailored to enrich success in completing therapeutic goals. The services are provided with efficiency, thoughtfulness, and as team with the client (children and young adults) and/or family. We each have our own specific training and/or certifications including crisis intervention, CBT, Solution-Focus, Exposure Response Therapy, Motivational interviewing, and DBT. In addition, we also provide group therapy. We have professional experiences within various settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, and Emergency settings.

Laura Valois has been a licensed clinician in Rhode Island since 2017. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Fairfield University in Connecticut and her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Latino Mental Health and Children and Families of Adversity and Resilience from William James College in Massachusetts. She completed her post-doctoral internship at Gershon Psychological Associates in Rhode Island. In addition to her work as a therapist and evaluator at LifeStance, she also teaching Doctoring at Brown Medical School.

Sarah Zimage is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2014. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from William James College. Sarah has specialized training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and DBT-PE. Her approach in therapy is helping patients identify what is meaningful for and important to them and helps with overcoming barriers to living their lives based on these values. Sarah takes a behavioral approach, helping patients identify changes they would like to make and the steps they could take to make those changes.

Kimberly Palmisano is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2023. Kimberly enjoys mindfulness and incorporates it into her sessions regularly. She also focuses on a client's strengths and goals. Kimberly hopes to empower clients to live their best lives. Outside of work, Kimberly loves to spend time with her animals. She has a small backyard farm with horses, goats, and chickens and also shares her home with 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Elise N. Jarvis, LMHC is a licensed clinician in RI who has provided clinical care since 2010. She received her Master's degree in Psychology and then continued her academic career earning an Advanced Counseling Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College. Her training has honed in on: trauma and recovery work, behavioral difficulties, self-injurious thoughts and behaviors, suicidality, parent-focused interventions, and coping skill and sensory implementation.

Audrey Wayman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2019. She has a BA from Connecticut College and an MA from Boston College in Mental Health Counseling. Audrey believes that being vulnerable and seeking help takes strength. She strives to build genuine rapport with each of her clients and provide a safe, caring, and non-judging space for them to open up and feel heard. Audrey hopes to help her clients build more healthy thought patterns, gain insight, and navigate their mental health challenges one step at a time.

Ramona Batista is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2019. She has a Master’s in Social Work. Ramona provides a safe and welcoming space without judgment, utilizing a strengthsbased approach to collaboratively work with clients toward achieving their goals. Ramona’s unique contribution lies in her dedicated, detailoriented, and bilingual social work, supported by a proven track record of enhancing the quality of life for diverse populations.

My 25 plus years of experience has been working with children, youth and their families who have a history of trauma/abuse and neglect and struggle with relationships. I have experience in public child welfare, working with RI Family Court, RI Superior Court and various other state and community service agencies. I have worked with victims of violence as well as offenders. My work focuses around helping parents, young adults and children who have struggled with their behavioral health; depression, substance use disorders, anger management, communication, relationship issues and school functioning.
