In whatever phase of life you find yourself, therapy can be beneficial to uncover the masks that keep us from growing and becoming. It is my belief that healing hidden wounds are necessary in one’s quest to break free from destructive patterns that hinder growth in various areas of one’s life. My approach is person centered, strengths-based, and solution focused. I have over 15 years of individual and group counseling experience, providing services to various populations. I counsel with compassion and a desire to understand my clients in their context, to include their personal experiences that formed their perspectives.
I am dedicated to helping you create your vision for your life while providing you with the tools to stay on course. Whether child, adolescent, adult, or family therapy; allow me to walk alongside of you to hope, love, find balance, and dream again. I specialize in grief therapy, child and adolescent behavioral health issues, and adult transitions.
Myself and my team of clinicians are currently accepting new clients. There is no waiting for Medicaid clients who are covered with Anthem, Sentara, & Aetna. Our office hours are extended for those in need of evening and weekend appointments. We also offer video counseling sessions via a secure internet portal. We look forward to journeying with you.

Smart Girls Do Smart Things
Smart Girls Do Smart Things is a girl's empowerment initiative with a mission to unlock the greatness in girls ages 8-18. Our goal is to not only increase self esteem but to promote and teach success in all areas. We do so by targeting the 7 Dimensions of Wellness. These areas include the physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual (finding purpose), environmental, and vocational aspects of life to promote balance, healing, coping strategies, and affirming habits thus increasing positive outcomes. Our support/counseling groups offer a safe place for our Smart Girls to learn, heal, and grow.
