As a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor I incorporate empathy, psychoeducation, and empowerment into my therapeutic work. I prefer to adopt a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered approach and believe firmly that therapy is a shared journey between the client and therapist.
My work experience includes working with victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault where I utilized Trauma Focused-CBT. Other areas of experience include family and relational issues, divorce, grief & loss, infertility, substance use & addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, emerging adulthood, life transitions, and work & academic stress.
In addition, I am passionate about social justice and respect all ethnicities, backgrounds, and religious beliefs. So please feel free to just be you! I am also bilingual in Arabic and English. I currently treat adolescents ages 15+, emerging adults, adults, and the elderly.
