I have nearly 30 years of experience and I primarily work with women. I use an integrated approach of clinical techniques and a bit of humor to help women meet their therapy goals. I enjoy working with women to reduce their stress and increase their problem solving and coping skills. I help women explore their options and acquire tools to ease the stress of life. I provide a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. I offer individual therapy using a blended approach of Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused techniques. I also provide Flash a derivative of EMDR. I offer case staffing and consultation to licensed Therapists.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitizing Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. EMDR is a therapeutic approach proven highly effective to reduce emotionally charged responses when remembering disturbing events. Brainspotting (BSP) is another effective method I use to process traumatic and disturbing experiences. BSP is a focused mindfulness technique.
