My practice focuses on predominately all things included in women's mental health. Issues surrounding Pregnancy anxiety & Depression, Postpartum Mood & anxiety disorders, Pregnancy/Infancy grief & loss, Birth Trauma, NICU parenting, and infertility. The needs and the goals of my clients vary but the overall goal is to meet the individual's needs and strengthen their well-being. Therapy is tailored to the individual and their goals while obtaining support and learning new and effective skills and strategies.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with women's mental health. I am a certified perinatal mental health provider with my practice focusing on perinatal mental health & wellness, perinatal grief & loss, and postpartum mood & anxiety disorders.
What does perinatal mental health mean? I get it. Even some other therapist in the field do not know either when I tell them what I do! I serve the population that often puts everyone else first and takes care of everyone around them, all the mamas. Whether you just had a baby, had a baby 3 years ago, or recently experienced a loss.
