I am trained and licensed as a Couple therapist, but also work with individuals on various life issues. Childhood trauma is one of my important areas of focus in sessions, so as to help clients remove psychological blocks. My desire is to create a space where each person can reach for his/her highest growth potential. Couples often seek therapy when their relationship is on its last leg, hoping that I might have "the magic wand". It is when both partners are invested in self-growth that therapy works its magic to help create a stronger couple.
I try to go beyond what is being said in a session. My job is to hear the unspoken, understand and address fears around therapy so as to create trust and safety. My clients find me a good listener, empathetic, caring as well as open to challenging behavioral patterns which may be redundant.
