Joey treats clients ages 12 & up. Sessions take place virtually (using a HIPAA compliant platform). We understand that therapy is only part of the solution and we work cooperatively with clients to find the contributing factors to their health challenges. These factors may include lifestyle habits that precipitated the stress response in the first place; once the client is aware, they are empowered to change with support from a trusted advocate.
We use integrative approaches that work synergistically to produce positive results. Some of those include: cognitive therapy, lifestyle and diet analysis, mindfulness-based therapy, and nutrient and neurotransmitter testing.
Joey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who uses an integrative and collaborative approach with his clients. Through specific evidenced-based techniques, Joey creates a productive, engaging and safe therapeutic environment for his clients. Joey attended Nova Southeastern University and received a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
