Life has many stages and painful times that we live through that include relationship difficulties, family problems, aging, illnesses and bereavement. I provide non judgmental guidance without an agenda focusing on the patient's needs. I help them work toward what they want to achieve or change and together create concrete short and long term goals, integrating them into daily living. There is no pressure, only understanding and support for them to achieve what their focus is for the present and future.
I have 25+ years experience including working in a psychiatric hospital unit. There I worked with mood and thought disorders in an adult population. My private practice involves a focus on anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and physical illness in ages 16 to geriatric. If necessary I refer to and collaborate with psychiatrists on the patient's behalf.
