I work with those experiencing trauma after the betrayal and disclosure of sexual addiction and infidelity by their partner. I am a certified partner trauma therapist associate and provide trauma-focused work for individuals and couples. I have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based modality that tracks the negative interaction cycle that causes distress and results in insecure attachment and disconnection. Additionally, I provide EMDR, a researched-based technique, for clients experiencing trauma and symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I also specialize in family enmeshment issues.
Regina is supervised by and works closely with a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and has received direct experience working with partners dealing with betrayal trauma, sex addiction and is familiar with the process of preparing for a formal disclosure, creating boundary plans, receiving polygraph results, as well as co-facilitating groups for support.
