I believe that the most important factor of successful treatment starts with establishing a genuine therapeutic relationship. I have over 20 years of experience working with children, adults and families with co-occurring disorders, and the expectation is that each client is treated with dignity and respect. There is a higher calling on my life to serve people and this combines with education, training and life experience to better connect with others while assisting in the healing process..
I serve individuals who are interested in improving their lives by understanding their emotions and how those emotions are affecting their behaviors and actions. I use an empathic approach to counseling that combines Solution Focused Brief Therapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as other evidence-based approaches. I respect the client’s autonomy.
At Talking Works we accept all of you. I personally know that you have a vision of what you will look like once you start doing the work. As my close friend Eric hall would say "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step". Let's take that first step together. Reach out to me! I look forward to hearing from you.
