My name is Reed and I specialize in substance use disorder (as well as issues with sex, gambling, or shopping), bipolar disorder, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and anger issues. Every session is individualized to the client's needs. Our sessions will consist of a partnership built upon mutual respect and understanding. I use a strength based approach that focuses on personal growth. You have control of each session.
I am experienced in CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, DBT skills, and exposure therapy. For substance use disorder, I use either a harm reduction model or an abstinence-based approach, depending on the client. I see individuals, couples, men and women. All my work is based on the newest research.
It requires courage to ask for help. True strength embraces weakness. My goal is to be your guide as we walk along an emotional pathway that only you can determine. In our sessions, you can say the words you have been afraid to say, or feel the feelings that you may have been hiding. I hope to help you live a life worth living.
