I strive to create a non-judgmental environment for my clients where they feel welcomed, respected, heard, and have the support they deserve while collaboratively working towards their goals. The most rewarding part about being a mental health counselor is being able to witness individuals bettering themselves and overcoming obstacles whether they are big or small. As a counselor, I know that every individual is unique; therefore, I work with the client based on their needs and at a pace they are comfortable with, while also trying to challenge them in making steps towards their progress.
I completed my clinical internship at a community outpatient counseling clinic in Montclair, New Jersey. During my time as a clinician, I worked with a variety of clients, including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I provided individual, couples, family, and group counseling.
I am a big family person. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy cooking with my boyfriend and trying new delicious places to dine. To decompress, I like to watch shows and movies of various genres. I also enjoy taking my dog for walks, seeing how much joy it brings him.
