Hi, I’m Bekah. I want to start by saying that reaching out for help takes courage. Whether or not we work together, I am glad that you are taking the time find a clinician with whom you feel comfortable. Do you ever find that you are significantly harsher with yourself than you would be to a friend or even a stranger? Life is hard enough on its own, yet sometimes we have a tendency to make it harder for ourselves.
My role is to be there to listen in an unbiased way and help you process your thoughts to gain a better understanding of a situation and prepare for future experiences. The process of understanding is very personal, so I will work to use evidence-based methods that are a good fit for you.
