Creating a therapeutic relationship is purposeful and meaningful work. I intend to provide individuals a safe space to process their experiences, free of judgement, and work collaboratively to navigate a path toward a personal, ultimate wellness. My counseling style is warm and supportive, with a humanistic foundation. Through a strength-based lens, I draw on multiple evidenced-based modalities such as Client-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Therapy.
I have over ten years experience in the counseling field. I provide psychotherapy services with Ho’ohana Counseling to adults via online therapy. I have worked for clients with a wide range of needs and specialize in counseling grief/loss, existential concerns, stress/anxiety, communication challenges, life changes, anxiety/depression, and terminal illness.
