Hi there, I’m Rebecca, a therapist at Mountain View Therapy! I practice therapy from a Narrative approach- I believe that meaning-making through stories shapes lives, relationships, and communities. At MVT, we hope to use this knowledge to help folks develop the stories that support their preferred lives. I enjoy working a wide variety of clients, but I am especially passionate about working with folks struggling with the effects of complex trauma, interpersonal violence, substance use, anxiety, depression, and those who are exploring gender identity.
I studied Psychology and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies in undergrad which inspired me to pursue social work. I received my MSW from Boston College with a specialty in trauma-informed care. Before joining Mountain View Therapy I was a therapy intern at Cambridge Health Alliance and I provided group therapy for folks exploring gender and sexuality.
