Problems do not occur in a vacuum. Individual problems often have symptoms that affect the entire family system. I work with children, adolescents, couples, and families experiencing whatever problems of the moment. During our work together, we will explore the impact of the issue and join together to generate solutions that not only benefit the people in the room, but may also positively influence future generations.
My training in couple and family therapy provides a perspective that allows integration of multiple variables in problem solving. I incorporate play therapy theories and techniques, as I am achieving certification in play therapy. Although I work with individuals across the life span, my specialty is in working with children and adolescents.
