We have all experienced things that have left us feeling less-than, left us with wounds that struggle to heal, and have impacted how we live our lives. These experiences come from our childhood, the stress in our day-to-day lives, or even how we process the world around us. As a result of these hurts we often experience struggles in relationships with others, our own self-esteem, and our ability to handle life in healthy ways.
Healing from these often deep-rooted wounds requires help from and connection with others that allows us to explore our experiences in a safe place and begin to find healing. I aim to create a safe place for clients where we can work together on fostering safe connection and healing to enable you to live a life free from those wounds that can haunt us.
I believe in taking a holistic approach to healing, looking at the mental, physical, social, and spiritual lives of clients and taking them all into account. I incorporate person-centered, existential, and cognitive-behavioral perspectives into my practice in order to best serve my clients and build an approach to therapy that goes beyond.
