I provide individual counseling with students from elementary school through college to help provide tools and coping skills for success. I also conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify a student's barrier to school success, both academically, and social-emotionally. Any learning, behavioral, or mental health disorders are identified, including ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability. I also provide Gifted testing.
Rebecca Pasternak is a LEP in private practice who specializes in working with students from preschool through college. She has a passion for mindfulness and provides workshops and presentations to parents, teachers, students, and school groups on the topic.
Rebecca earned her BA in Psychology & Communication Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She then received her Masters of Education in School Psychology (Ed.M.) from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. She worked in the public schools as a school psychologist for many years before opening her private practice.
