I have a warm, accepting, supportive and understanding style. I believe that it is possible for any of us to get "stuck" in a thought or behavior that does not always suit our best interest. Together we can discover what these are for you, (your relationship, your work life, etc.) and work on ways of approaching and viewing things differently.
I primarily have a psychodynamic, self psychological approach but borrow from many other treatment forms. I believe that the treatment is focused toward the individual needs. Each individual is different therefore the focus of each treatment needs to be appropriate for each individual.
I have a great deal of professional and life experiences that guide me. I have traveled and worked in many parts of the world and am sensitive to cultural differences. I have a fellowship in psychoanalysis. I actively pursue continuous education and life experiences. (I speak some Spanish)
