I am non-judgmental experienced Licensed psychologist who has over 14 years of experience in the mental health field. My mission in life is to help people on their journey and to help them to overcome any trauma, set back or challenges that they have. My therapeutic style is warm, empathic, and down-to-earth and I believe in creating a safe space for everyone. I have a background in academia as a professor teaching in both Europe and the USA. I have published various scientific papers within the area of psychology and presented research worldwide. The client populations I work with are children, adolescents, adults and couples.
I use evidence- based approaches and I am trained in (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy and also utilize various techniques such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational interviewing, Person centered counselling and Solution Focused Therapy.
I understand both professionally and personally how scary it can be to seek out professional help. But I also know how life changing it can be. Getting therapy is a courageous step but I have faith that together we can work to help you to meet your goals and live a meaningful and purposeful life.
