In sessions, I work to create a space for clients that allows for exploration and discovery of themselves and their internal/external worlds. By approaching the journey of healing and transformation through deep listening and curiosity, I help bring about clarity without shame or judgment where there are blocks or stuckness. I work with adults, college students and children. When working with children, I lean into play and art/expressive therapies that help the child access their emotional worlds.
My approach has been described as compassionate, curious, and active. A few strategies I draw on frequently include Internal family systems (IFS), mindfulness, acceptance based and self compassion therapies. I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities and, together, we will find the approach best suited to your meet your needs and hopes.
