Looking for Christian counseling? Equine therapy? Grief counseling? Children and Teen Counseling? Mood Disorders? My name is Becky Jones, owner of Heaven's Rays Ministries, LLC, which is a Christian private practice providing professional counseling services, equine therapy, support groups, and events to the community. I offer virtual, in-person, and equine therapy (no riding involved) on a farm with animals in Louisa, Va right off I-64. I have a rustic office onsite with A/C and heat decorated to make you feel at home on the farm. Nice weather? Let's sit outside with the animals or walk and talk on the nature trails!
My specialties are Christian counseling, , equine therapy, grief, suicide loss, mood disorders, unresolved childhood issues, foster care system, stress management, depression, life transitions, anxiety, and trauma. I see children ages 6 and up, teens, adults, and families. My clients would describe me as personable, empathetic, compassionate, and supportive.

Connect with others in the foster care system who can relate to its unique challenges and experiences in a structured group setting virtually and options to meet in person on a farm in Louisa, VA for select dates and times. Medicaid and insurance accepted. Groups are held every other Thursday separated by foster parents from 6-7:15 pm, children 5-6pm, and teens 6:15-7:15 pm. Groups start in February 2023 depending on the amount of interest and end date TBD. Registration and intake required in order to join group.

Equine Therapy Group for Elementary Ages 7-11

This is a Social Skills and Friendship Group Integrating Horses to Help Build Healthy Communication and Connections for Elementary Children ages 7-11. It is an open group co-led by a licensed counselor and equine trainer every other Friday after school starting on 2/02/24 from 4-5:15 pm and ending on 3/29/24. Registration is happening now! Horses are integrated into the group (no riding) while building social skills, connections with others, coping skills, conflict resolution skills, problem-solving, developing empathy, all while having a positive and fun experience with nature and animals!
