Often people come into therapy when their efforts to connect with the people who are most important to them are being misinterpreted, leading to strained relationships. In my experience, the key to shifting this dynamic is reinforcing genuine connection and nurturing emotional safety. I have experience supporting clients in managing challenges related to pregnancy and the postpartum period, relationships, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting concerns, behavioral challenges, and parent-child interactions.
My theoretical lens is primarily relationship-based; meaning I value the integration of treatment modalities within the context of the therapeutic relationship. I try to lead with connection in each of my interactions.
It can feel difficult to share your story with a stranger and in my practice it is of the utmost importance that you and/or your child feel heard, known, and safe to share your authentic selves through a therapeutic experience that is client-led and relationship-centered.
