I like to help others heal from suffering - whether it be understanding and managing emotions, processing trauma, reducing negative thinking patterns, getting unstuck, changing habits, letting go, achieving personal goals, communicating or relating better, building coping skills and resilience, etc. I take a holistic approach in my work and integrate talk therapy, mind-body skills (breathing, relaxation, yoga nidra, qigong, etc.), and healthy food/sleep/movement practices. My therapy style is warm, thoughtful, attuned, open, strengths-based, collaborative.
I will help you learn and practice cognitive, communication, mind-body, and other skills that you can continue to use after therapy to foster and maintain stability and healthy relationships. Note: Costs below are self-pay rates in the case you are not using insurance.
Unique and relevant for some is that I am a career changer. I worked for 15 years as an Instructional Designer / Consultant. I'm aware of the dynamics and stressors that can exist in various work environments (Top 500, gov., small bus.) as well as when changing careers.
