I specialize in working with both couples and individuals. Many couples truly love each other but need help with their communication and working through conflict. Couples therapy can help strengthen relationships and turn around the negativity that leaves each partner feeling misunderstood and disconnected. I use many of the techniques of the Gottman Method which focuses on developing strategies to treat each other with greater kindness, thoughtfulness and respect.
A graduate of UCLA (MSW) and Stanford University (BA), I also have 25 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults, ages 18 to 80+ . My approach is collaborative and draws from a number of theoretical models, depending on your unique needs. My areas of expertise include relationship issues, anxiety, depression and life transitions.
