I work with high-achieving professionals and leaders that want to change their personal and/or professional contexts. I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help people increase their insight and awareness in order to clarify change and move forward. Additionally, I help people co-construct, envision and achieve personal and professional goals. Using Systems Theory, I provide an analysis of relational contexts as it supports goals and desired change.
I started practicing in 2008 and I am currently a LCMFT, Kansas Board-Approved Supervisor, and an AAMFT Supervisor (national certificate). I've been a professor since 2012, and in an administrative role since 2015. I am currently the Program Director for the Master of Science in Family Therapy Program (MSFT) at Friends University.
My academic career has included a wide variety of leadership experiences, including state and national board/committees, and presentations. As an administrator, I supervise employees and understand the unique relational dynamics that are within that context. My experience provides me the insight to support leaders and high-achieving professionals.
