As a counselor, my goal is to help each individual reach their own goals and recognize that they are already amazing people. Depression, anxiety, phobias, grief, trauma, and addiction are all areas that I am trained in, but these issues do not define who my patients are. Rather, they are obstacles in life that can be managed and even overcome with their strength and resilience that is already present. I simply act as a guide through their journey, providing insight, coping skills, and a unique perspective.
I am an EMDR Level 1 and 2 trained therapist and utilize many other techniques, including Child-Parent Psychotherapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Therapy. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. No matter the intervention I use, I always start with an empowering, client-centered approach. Our relationship takes precedence over anything else.
