I believe counseling is a collaborative, wholistic process. I come from a strengths-based perspective that supports a person's capacity for change and recognizes the importance of one's life story. As a counselor, my goal is to reach positive changes in every client's life by creating an environment that feels safe and exploratory while looking at experiences, fears, and desires through multiple lenses while learning tools to manage stressors. My 17 years of clinical experience includes working with individuals, families, and groups of all ages. I work with pre-teen, adolescent and adult individuals facing challenges with mood, life transitions, balance/stress, adoption/infertility, parenting issues, relational issues and trauma. I have a therapy dog named Hayden who loves to come with me to work!
Insurance: I currently accept most insurances. Some insurance companies support 3rd party reimbursement. This is where I submit to you a monthly invoice, that if eligible you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance. If you don't see your insurance listed here ask me about other options.
