As I work with clients, I become focused on not only helping them to achieve their goals, but to help them to see the good that was inside of them the moment they scheduled their first session. My "ideal" client is one who is willing explore their strengths, as we uncover the reason why they decided to seek counseling.
Throughout my time counseling, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns/disorders. This experience helped me become knowledgeable about these various issues. Yet, I have learned to cherish the relationship between the client and I. Therefore, a specialty I possess is the ability to build the working relationship necessary to help you thrive.
I understand the value getting to know one's story, in their own words. Therefore, I aspire to help clients by giving them the space to be who they are, and to show where they have came from. Clients often attend counseling not aware of their own strengths/abilities. So, I try to help every client become aware of their innate strengths, as we work on goals.
