Maybe you have been taught that loving yourself is selfish, you find that you are your own harshest critic, and the voice in your head has a lot of negative things to say. It is difficult to know how to listen to your own needs and make space for them. Therapy is a safe space to give back to yourself and learn to be gentle with your own experience. You are worth the time and energy to love and care for yourself the way you do for others.

You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for and this is true because you are here trying to find what is going to work for you, and that says a lot! Therapy allows the space for you to recognize what you are feeling and learn more about all that you are capable of.
