As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I understand that each person has a different story and many complexities that make them who they are. My clinical approach includes examining a person’s life from a systems perspective to identify all the factors influencing the individual. My clinical experience has included treating children, adolescents, young adults, and families who are experiencing behavioral issues or symptoms of ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma and life stressors.
In my work with these diagnoses, I have also helped clients in strengthening their capacity for emotional regulation, setting healthy boundaries, and communication skills. I work with my clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship where they feel comfortable and are able to explore at their own pace.
I understand what a privilege it is to be a part of someone’s healing journey, and thus have worked strategically to be a presence of competence and unconditional compassion. I assist my clients in understanding their behaviors and environment while helping them build practical skills to enhance their quality of life.
