I help individuals, couples, and families discover a new and more complete understanding of themselves, their thoughts, feelings, and relationships. I work from an existential-humanistic orientation, which is just a fancy way of saying that I believe every person is unique, valuable, and has purpose. For many people, discovering that purpose is the difference between a satisfying life and an empty one. For others, fulfilling their purpose gets messy and hard. In both cases (and many others) it can be helpful to talk it all through with a trusted therapist.
With advanced training in neuropsychology including the use of cognitive assessments and electroceuticals, I can often help in situations where talk therapy alone falls short. Trouble with attention/concentration, migraines, TBI recovery, and trauma can often be treated with a combination of therapy and neurofeedback.
