I work with (12+ age) adolescents, and families to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, eating disorders, hoarding, grief/loss, communication challenges, and more. Along with individual therapy, I also do couples counseling, family therapy and parent coaching. I also work with women with postpartum depression.
I am trilingual (English, Punjabi and Hindi). I view my work with clients from a systemic perspective, looking at how the larger context shapes families’ lives (e.g., cultural background, societal factors, etc). I have a passion for helping clients advocate for their needs, whether that be in the context of school, home, work or the larger community.
I strongly believe in incorporating a client’s cultural context into therapy and have experience working with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. I work to build a strong relationship with each of my clients and am honored to sit with them and help them work through their struggles and celebrate their successes.
