I believe each child and their family’s circumstances are unique. With support of personalized therapeutic approach and involvement of family, clients can work through their mental health struggles towards healing. My client centered therapeutic approach is guided by my doctoral and post-doctoral background in biomedical sciences and neuroinflammation. I support mental and emotional healing in children, adolescents, young adults and adults using interventions based on developments in the field of psychology and neurobiology. I am trained in EMDR, Sandtray-EMDR, TF-CBT and CAMS.
I specialize in trauma therapy helping clients to manage the symptoms of anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts and attachment issues. I use combination of evidence based modalities including, EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness and CBT to help clients heal through trauma by releasing trapped emotions and learning to identify and manage triggers.
