My goal in working with people in psychotherapy is to help them understand themselves and make sense of what is happening within themselves and in their lives. My focus is on helping people enrich their lives and on exploring the various barriers to a sense of vitality. I have a specific interest in working with therapists and therapists-in-training in psychotherapy.
My approach to therapy is informed by psychodynamic, psychoanalytic approaches, and therefore, I work with individuals interested in long-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I also have training in exposure-based approaches to anxiety and OCD and have much experience working with individuals with generalized and specific forms anxiety, OCD, eating disorders.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience supporting people with a wide range of concerns, including significant life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, among many others.
