I have had a great deal of experience working with very different people from very different backgrounds, and I truly enjoy getting to know and work with people of all types. I currently work with adults suffering from mental illness, and I am very comfortable helping others through their unique symptoms of Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder (I & II), as well as other conditions. However, I also have extensive experience assisting people in simply moving towards their goals, improving their responses to (internal and external) conflict and building self-esteem to move forward in life.
In therapy, I prefer a collaborative, strengths-based approach, and I genuinely thrive on being challenged. I am passionate about helping others overcome the obstacles that they find standing in their way at different stages of life, and enjoy customizing my approach to each client’s strengths and needs. I employ a combination of therapy modalities.
In my own life, like most people, I have had to face and overcome many difficulties. These life lessons have given me a great deal of compassion and empathy for my fellow human beings; I work very hard to maintain a nonjudgmental, welcoming and gentle space for others to work within and hopefully move past the obstacles that hold them back in life.
