I have observed that most of the clients I have helped over the years, suffer from and express feeling fragmented by either past trauma or current stressors they are experiencing. They describe feeling stuck and unable to move forward in their lives. This often leads to anxiety and depression as a sense of powerlessness invades and takes control of their thinking. In some cases, panic attacks, substance use and even self harming or suicidal thoughts can occur. My goal then for you my client, is to help you piece together your fragmented sense of self and help you move forward on the path towards a better present and future.

In sessions, we will explore the problem that is troubling you by describing it and gathering relevant history, identifying how the problem is impacting your life and, providing the opportunity to express whatever pent up feelings you've been holding inside. Then we will teach you healthy emotional management and reasoning skills to help you move forward.

The idea of going to a therapist is often scary and uncomfortable. After a first session with me however, clients feel relieved and discover a safe place where they can talk about their thoughts and feelings without being judged.
