Part of the therapy is meeting the client where they are and helping them to move forward. Everyone has their own story and at the end of the day, therapy should help the person to move forward. I believe that therapy is about asking difficult questions and facing the things we are afraid of, breaking down the obstacles and roadblocks, understanding the repeated behaviors that prevent us from moving forward and achieving all that we are capable of.
