Hello! My name is Rafaela, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I work in a collaborative process with adults 25 years and older who are motivated to find their inner voice and know their highest selves. My clients may also want support in their relationships with peers and family of origin. I am here to meet you halfway. The unconscious processes that drive us can largely impact our day-to-day lives. In session, I also focus on how we can help you get to where you want to be. In session, I also focus on how we can help you get to where you want to be. This may entail building different habits, learning new skills, or simply modifying what you are already doing so that it works better for you. I lean more heavily on thought-based, behavioral, and mindful approaches.
I work with adults 25 years and older who are focused on setting boundaries, assertive and effective communication, healthy relationships, self-advocacy, and self-efficacy. My clients are willing to reflect on sessions outside of the therapeutic hour and keep doing "the work" in between sessions.
