Hi, my name is Rachelle Hardin-Moniz. I am committed to assisting my clients in engaging in a therapeutic relationship based on engagement, openness, and removal of their symptoms and pain. I strive to facilitate growth and improved quality of life. I have been practicing for over 30 years. I am treating a variety of clientele. Their ages are from 18 to as old as you think you are(No age limit). Both males and females. The common thread is childhood trauma and its effects.
I like to have a wide range of different clients in my practice. I consider diversity and balance as helpful to me as a clinician. It keeps me fresh and learning.
My stance is that of "therapeutic pluralism" in which effective interventions are taken from several different therapeutic approaches. Primarly, interpersonal dynamics. I individualize.
I work with depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma(childhood & recent), major mental health. I can offer experience with maternal and child health issues: pregnancy, post-partum depression, pregnancy loss, infertility, and abortion decisions. I have knowledge of the dynamics and ways to address abusive relationships and knowledge of substance abuse dynamics.
