A sense of vitality in our lives, freedom to make choices, satisfaction at work and in our personal relationships, a connection to a full range of our own emotions- these are often aspirations that are elusive to many of us. Developing a trusting, collaborative relationship with a therapist, can be an important step in moving towards these goals. By understanding ourselves, our patterns, and our challenges more clearly, we start to feel better and function more effectively in our lives and relationships.
We can approach our work together from different perspectives, focusing on a current crisis or concern, as well as taking a more in-depth look at underlying patterns. As you clarify your thoughts and feelings, my job is to listen to your experience and provide my ideas and insight.
I am a warm and attuned listener and will collaborate with you to identify the focus of our time together. As a therapist, I seek to be my authentic self and believe that the many years I have invested in my own therapy have led to a deepening of my understanding of how we can change. Our time together will be well spent. I look forward to hearing from you.

Interpersonal Process Group
Through interacting and building relationships with other group members, we develop and refine the skills to notice, understand, and articulate thoughts and feelings about ourselves and others. By looking closely at our own responses and to those that we evoke in others, we gain new information about our relationships both in and outside of the group. This information can be used to help increase our capacity for healthy and fulfilling relationships. Group provides opportunities to try out new roles and behaviors in a safe and compassionate space, while building inner resilience through connecting with others.
